Waveform
memory
A
waveform
memory
is
a
convenient,
nonvolatile,
waveform
storage
area.
A
waveform
memory
contains
a
single
waveform
record
along
with
the
vertical
and
horizontal
scaling
factors
for
that
waveform.
Zooming
Zooming
is
used
when
the
acquisition
is
in
the
stopped
mode.
Zooming
either
expands
or
compresses
the
acquired
waveform
on
the
horizontal
axis
of
the
display.
It
is
controlled
by
the
time
base
time/div
controls
for
expansion
or
compression
of
a
single-shot
wave-
forre
in
the
real-time
mode.
Decreasing
time/div
expands
the
waveform
and
is
referred
to
as
"zooming
in."
Increasing
time/div
compresses
the
waveform
and
is
re-
ferred
to
as
"zooming
out."
