Before removing the USB bracket from the system board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 20).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Computer feet and bottom cover on page 20).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 22).
4. Remove the fan (see Fan on page 25).
5. Remove the system board (see System board on page 36).
Remove the USB bracket from the system board:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screw (1) that secures the USB bracket to the system board.
2. Remove the bracket from the system board (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the USB bracket onto the system board.
