10. Diagnostic Utilities
10.1 Force Normal Boot
Description
This selection must be made after you no longer want the printer to constantly boot in diagnostic mode.
After this selection is made the printer will boot as normal
This feature is also included in the Service Menu.
Procedure
1. Go to Diagnostic tests>10. Diagnostic Utility Menu>10.1 Force Normal Boot.
The printer changes the configuration.
2. Press any key to finish.
10.2 Force Diagnostics Boot
Description
The Force Diagnostic Mode diagnostic utility allows you to reset the printer bootmode so that the printer
will always start in diagnostic mode. This is useful if you will be performing multiple tests running from
diagnostic mode.
This feature is also included in the Service Menu.
Procedure
1. Go to Diagnostic tests>10. Diagnostic Utility Menu>10.2 Force Diagnostic Boot.
The printer changes the configuration.
2. Press any key to finish.
10.2 Report Tests Version
Description
The Report Tests Version displays which version of the Diagnostic tests is installed in the Printer. This
feature is also included in the Service Menu.
NOTE: Once you force the printer to boot in diagnostic mode, in order to change the bootmode back
again, you must perform the Force Normal Boot diagnostic utility, see previous utility.
