Install the air baffle ("Removing the air baffle" on page 19).
11. Install the access panel ("Installing the access panel" on page 18).
12. Install the server into the rack ("Installing the server into the rack" on page 24).
13. Power up the server (on page 17, "Powering up and configuring the server" on page 25).
Expansion board option
To install the component:
1. Power down the server (on page 17).
2. Remove the server from the rack ("Removing the server from the rack" on page 17).
3. Remove the access panel ("Removing the access panel" on page 18).
4. Disconnect all internal cables connected to any existing expansion boards.
5. Remove the PCIe riser board assembly ("Removing the PCIe riser board assembly" on page 18).
6. Remove the expansion slot covers.
7. Install the expansion board.
IMPORTANT: The server does not power up if the PCIe riser board assembly is not seated
properly.
8. Install the PCIe riser board assembly ("Installing the PCIe riser board assembly" on page 19).
9. Connect all internal cables for expansion boards.
10. Install the access panel ("Installing the access panel" on page 18).
11. Install the server into the rack ("Installing the server into the rack" on page 24).
12. Power up the server (on page 17, "Powering up and configuring the server" on page 25).
