5.
Open the expansion board retainer, and then remove the expansion slot cover.
6. Install the shipping screw.
7. Close the expansion slot retainer.
8. Install the access panel (on page 27).
9. Slide the server back into the rack.
10. Power up the server (on page 25).
11. Resume normal server operations.
Installing the PCI Express I/O expansion board
CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server
unless all expansion slots have either an expansion slot cover or an expansion board
installed.
