NOTE: The Bluetooth module spare part kit does not include a Bluetooth module cable. The
Bluetooth module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 651384-001.

Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the battery (see
Battery on page 41).
5. Remove the service access cover (see
Service access cover on page 42).
Remove the Bluetooth module:
1. Disconnect the Bluetooth module cable (1) from the system board.
2. Slide the cable (2) out of the clip and away from the routing channel.
3. Using a thin tool, gently pry the outer edge (1) of the module away from the base enclosure.
4. Rotate the module (2) away from the base enclosure.
