Card Reader board cable
NOTE: The Card Reader board cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 672006-001.
Before removing the Card Reader board cable, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the battery (see
Battery on page 31).
Remove the Card Reader board cable:

Disconnect both ends of the Card Reader board cable (1) and (2) from the system board, and
then release the cable (3) from the clips and channel built into the base enclosure.
Reverse this procedure to install the Card Reader board cable.
