NOTE: When replacing the top cover, be sure to remove the following components from the defective
top cover and install them on the replacement top cover:

Solid-state drive connector board (see

●
Power button board (see
Power button board on page 44)
Remove the top cover:
1. Release the ZIF connector to which the TouchPad cable is connected, and then disconnect
the TouchPad cable (1) from the TouchPad.
2. Disconnect the speaker cable (2) from the system board.
3.
Remove the two rear rubber feet (1).
