Main gear assembly
1 Remove the top cover (see page 115) and the left cover (page 123).
The main motor is located on a PCA that is on the back of the main gear assembly.
2 Disconnect the main motor cable (callout 1).
3 Remove five self-tapping screws (callout 2) and the grounding screw (callout 3) that hold the
gear assembly to the chassis.
