Top-of-page sensor
1 Remove Tray 2.
2 Remove the top cover (see page 115), the left side cover (page 123), the pickup gear
assembly (page 136), the paper-handling PCA (page 131), and the paper-feed roller
assembly (page 144).
3 Remove the gear from the left end of the Tray 2 shaft (see page 152, steps 1 through 4), and
then slide the shaft to the right.
4 Remove the screw (callout 1) that secures the sensor to the chassis.

5 Remove the sensor, feeding the cable through the opening in the chassis.
