Optional 250-sheet feeder
Separation pad
1 Empty the paper from the tray.
Note Callout 1 in figure 101 shows a detail of the separation pad.
2 While pressing down the paper lift plate (callout 2), reach under the front of the tray and
squeeze the black tabs (callout 3 in figure 102) to release the separation pad from the tray.

3 If necessary, pull the spring off of the old separation pad, and then insert the spring onto the
new separation pad.
