HP Instant Support
If you have Internet access, you can take advantage of HP Instant Support, a powerful tool included
with the HP Embedded Web Server. HP Instant Support is a Web-based tool that provides self-help
and troubleshooting tips to quickly diagnose and solve your printer problems.
HP Instant Support provides direct access to personalized printer information 24-hours a day, seven
days a week. When you click the HP Instant Support link from the HP Toolbox, your printer data is
sent to the HP Web site, and you can then access troubleshooting and maintenance tips, usage
information, service options, and self-help tools specifically tailored to your printer. This feature is
available for the life of your printer, even after the warranty expires.
When there is a firmware or driver update for your printer available on the HP Web site, there will
be a message displayed on the HP Instant Support home page. Clicking on a link within the
message will take you directly to the printer drivers and downloads Web page. (The driver and
download Web page may not be available for evaluation prior to product introduction.)
HP SureSupply
HP SureSupply lets you conveniently and easily order supplies over the Internet. Enabled by
HP Smart printing technology, SureSupply helps you track and manage supplies usage, and
provides alerts when supplies should be reordered or replaced. With just a few clicks, access
cartridge information, pricing, and purchasing options that best meet your needs—either from the
reseller of your choice or from HP. (Program availability varies by region.)
