Event log message Description Action
31.03.30 ADF pick motor is not turning. 1. Verify the paper meets the product
specifications.
2. Make sure the input tray is not
overloaded.
3. Check the event log for ADF errors, and
resolve any errors first.
4. Open and close the top cover to see if
the pick motor turns without posting this
error. If the motor turns, then the motor is
good.
5. Verify the motor cables are connected.
6. Reseat ADF to scanner control board or
formatter cables.
7. Replace the ADF.
31.03.31 ADF feed motor is not turning. 1. Verify the paper meets the product
specifications.
2. Make sure the input tray is not
overloaded.
3. Check the event log for ADF errors, and
resolve any errors first.
4. Verify the motor cables are connected.
5. Reseat ADF to scanner control board or
