Intuitive, helpful control panel
The control panel has a unique touch-screen graphical display with all the features you expect from a standard
photocopier as well as faxing, scanning, digital sending capabilities, and printing. The control panel allows you
to describe the features of the original document, modify the document, and then select the features you desire
in the copy.
In addition, the control panel presents several menus that allow you to set system defaults, customize settings for
a particular job, and store and retrieve printed and scanned jobs. The control panel offers:
• Clear feedback during interaction with the touch-screen graphical display
• Support for learning how to use product features
• Clear instructions and illustrations
• Easy-to-read status messages in one location
The control panel includes a touch-screen graphical display with contrast adjustments for optimal viewing, three
job-control buttons, a 13-key numeric keypad, three LED status indicator lights, and a Sleep mode button.
Extensive user help
The device has a built-in Help system that explains how to use each screen. To open the Help
system, touch the Help button in the upper-right corner of the screen. For some screens, the
Help button opens to a global menu where you can search for specific topics. For screens
that contain settings for individual jobs, the Help button opens to a topic that explains the
options for that screen.
