Reinstall the SCB
When reinstalling the SCB, note the locator pin for the scanner cable. It might be easier to install the
scanner cable with a screw driver.
WARNING! Do not over tighten the screw when installing the cable. Over tightening the screw can
cause the nut to shear off of the SCB cage.

NOTE: If you are installing a replacement SCB, transfer the ferrite cores and bracket from the
discarded SCB to the replacement assembly
Reinstallation tip It might be easier to install the SCB if you remove the ferrite cores from the
bracket, and then position the SCB in the product.
Thread the FFCs through the openings in the back of the bracket, through the ferrite cores, and then
snap the ferrite cores into the bracket.
