Clean the pickup roller
If you want to clean the pickup roller before deciding to replace it, follow these instructions:
WARNING! Before cleaning the pickup roller, turn the product off, disconnect the power cord from the
wall outlet, and then wait for the product to cool.
1. Lift the scanner assembly, and open the print-cartridge door.
2. Remove the print cartridge.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the print cartridge, minimize its exposure to direct light. Cover
the print cartridge with a sheet of paper.
