First Time Installation
1. After assembling the unit you may connect the USB cable to any open USB port on the back
of the PC, the front USB may not be used.
2. Once connected, Windows will automatically detect the USB device and install a generic USB
to Serial COM Port driver and will also assign a COM port number.
3. Ensure that you change the COM Port number to COM5 in Device Manager; this will be the
default COM port for the customer display on all Engen installations. (See image 1a).
