Transfer roller
1. Open the print cartridge door and locate the transfer roller.

2. Use a small flat-blade screw driver (or the blue plastic transfer roller hook tool provided in the engine
maintenance kit) to lift up on the gear end of the roller and then rotate the roller up and away from
the device and remove it.
Tip When you install the replacement transfer roller, make sure that you remove the
protective paper sleeve from the roller after the roller is installed.
