Input tray
1. Remove the following components or assemblies:

ADF front end cap. See
Front end cover (cap) on page 219.
●
ADF rear end cap. See
Rear end cover (cap) on page 221.
2. Remove one ground screw (callout 1) and disconnect one connector (callout 2).
3. Clip one wire tie (callout 3) and release the ground cable and wire harness from the retainer
(callout 4).

4. Rotate the input tray into the upright position and release the keyed hinge pin nearest the front of
the ADF. Slide the tray toward the front of the ADF until the rear hinge pin clears the mounting hole
and remove the input tray.
