2. Open the cartridge access door and wait for the print carriage to stop moving.
CAUTION: Do not replace or install cartridges when the print carriage is still moving.
3. Open the cartridge latch as shown and gently remove the cartridge from its slot.
4. Remove the protective lm from a new cartridge.
5. Insert the new cartridge, and then close the latch as illustrated.
NOTE: Install the color cartridge on the left and the black cartridge on the right.
6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for the other cartridge if needed.
7. Close the cartridge access door.
