Remove the keyboard:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the keyboard cable is attached, and then disconnect the
keyboard cable from the docking board.
2. Detach the keyboard cable (2) from the top cover. (The keyboard cable is attached to the top cover with
double-sided adhesive.)
CAUTION: Before carrying out the next step, make sure the keyboard cable will route cleanly through
the opening (3) in the top cover. Failure to follow this caution can result in damage to the keyboard
cable.
3. Release the keyboard by pressing on the back of the keyboard in the location (4) indicated in the
following illustration.
4. Turn the top cover right side up with the front toward you.
5. Lift the rear edge of the keyboard (1) until it rests at an angle.
