HP Tamper Lock
HP Tamper Lock oers an extra level of business protection by notifying you when you computer has been
tamper
ed with or the bottom cover has been removed.
HP Tamper Lock uses tamper detection sensors located on the bottom cover and internal storage. If a sensor
is triggered, you must enter a supervisor password to unlock the computer. This feature is disabled by
default. Conguration settings are available in Computer Setup (BIOS).
NOTE: HP Tamper Lock must be
congured at the factory and requires that you set a supervisor password
prior to use.
