Remove the hard drive backplane.
To replace the component:
1. Install the hard drive backplane. Press down on the hard drive backplane retainer to seat the board.
2. Install the hard drives ("Hard drive" on page 26).
3. Install the hard drive blanks ("Hard drive blank" on page 26).
4. Install the access panel ("Access panel" on page 25).
5. Install the server blade.

1. Power down the server blade (on page 23).
2. Remove the server blade (on page 24).
