Connect the power cord to the power source.
Redundant hot-plug power supply cage
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the power supply
or power supply blank to cool before touching it.
CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server
unless all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server (on page 25).
2. Remove the redundant hot-plug power supplies ("Redundant hot-plug power supply" on page 28).
3. Remove the server from the rack (on page 26).
4. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 28).
5. Remove the air baffle ("Air baffle" on page 28).
6. Disconnect the power supply cables.

7. Remove the power supply cage.
