To replace the component:
1. Install the power supply cage.
2. Connect the power supply cables.
3. Install the air baffle ("Air baffle" on page 28).
4. Install the access panel ("Access panel" on page 28).
5. Install the server into the rack.
6. Install the redundant hot-plug power supplies ("Redundant hot-plug power supply" on page 28).
7. Power up the server.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the power supply
or power supply blank to cool before touching it.
CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server
unless all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server (on page 25).
2. Disconnect the power cord from the source.
3. Remove the power cord from the power supply.
