Remove all DIMMs ("DIMMs" on page 49).
7. Disconnect all cables from the system board.
8. Remove the dedicated iLO connector module, if installed ("Dedicated iLO 2 connector module" on
page 49).
9. Remove the heatsink ("Heatsink" on page 50).
10. Open the processor retaining latch and the processor socket retaining bracket on the failed system
board.
11. Using your fingers, remove the processor from the failed system board.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to the system board:
Do not touch the processor socket contacts.
Always install the processor socket cover after removing the processor from the socket.
Do not tilt or slide the processor when lowering the processor into the socket.
