Extend the server from the rack (on page 30).
o Remove the server from the rack (on page 31).
5. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 35).
6. Remove the fans ("Hot-plug fan blank and module" on page 39).
7. Remove the PCI riser cage ("PCI riser cage" on page 50).
8. Disconnect all cables connected to the system board.
9. Remove all DIMMs ("DIMMs" on page 43).
10. If installed, remove the heatsink blank ("Heatsink blank" on page 43).
11. Remove the heatsink:
a. Loosen one pair of diagonally opposite screws halfway, and then loosen the other pair of screws.
b. Completely loosen all screws in the same sequence.
c. Remove the heatsink from the processor backplate.
