If the amber LED is flashing, data is trapped in the cache. Restore system power, and restart this
procedure.
o If the amber LED is not illuminated, remove the storage controller from the server, and then proceed
to the next step.
8. If the cache module is connected to a capacitor pack, disconnect the capacitor pack cable from the
cache module.
9. Remove the cache module.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the cache module during installation, be sure the cache
module is fully inserted before pressing down.
