This results in the formation of amorphous lime complexes that are electrically neutral and can no longer adhere to pipe walls. These complexes manifest as a white, easy-flowing, non-stick, chalk-like "dust sludge." This not only preserves the integrity of pipes and devices but also simplifies household maintenance, as limescale stains can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth. The PKS 2000 PLUS X employs a more advanced capacitive impulse technology compared to older, less effective methods like permanent magnets or electro-physical/electromagnetic fields.
The device operates by applying a set frequency to coils wrapped around the water pipe. The user can manually select from six different frequency ranges using the "MODE" button, or choose an automatic mode. In automatic mode, the device cycles through the frequency ranges, and the voltage frequency on the coils changes smoothly within 0.1 seconds (10 Hz modulation) for each range. The device should be mounted in the vicinity of the water meter and distribution system, either horizontally or vertically. The impulse cables can be wound around the pipe to the left, right, or even underneath the electronics part if space is limited. The direction of water flow does not need to be considered during installation. Both impulse cables are wrapped around the pipe, and any thick paint on the water pipe in the winding area should be removed, though thin protective coatings do not interfere.
For wall mounting, the device must be disconnected from the mains. The mounting location should be near the main water connection and a 230 V socket. If a filter is present, the device should be installed before it. Approximately 2 x 10 cm of space is required on the water pipe for the coil. The magnetic field generator can be attached to the wall above the pipe or directly to the water pipe using long cable ties. Wall attachment involves removing the cover, marking and drilling four holes, inserting dowels, and screwing the lower part of the housing to the wall. The cover is then reattached.
Upon start-up, after the device and coils are attached, the power cable is plugged into a 230 V/50 Hz protective contact socket. A green operating light indicates that the device is working. It immediately starts in a previously saved mode, indicated by the flashing display for the corresponding frequency range. The "MODE" button allows manual selection of frequency ranges; each press increases the range by one step. If no further input is made within 10 seconds, the new setting is saved. In automatic mode, the "Automatic" LED lights up, and the LEDs for the respective frequency ranges switch cyclically.

Unneeded packaging material should be disposed of or stored out of reach of children to prevent suffocation. The device is not a toy and should not be handled by children.
In case of suspected unsafe operation (e.g., visible damage, non-functionality, loose parts, damaged connecting cables, or transport damage), the device must be decommissioned immediately and secured against unintentional operation. Any changes to the circuit or use of non-specified components will void the approval and warranty. The warranty period is 2 years from delivery for material and manufacturing defects. The manufacturer is not liable for damages resulting from negligent or intentional disregard of the instructions. The warranty becomes void if unauthorized modifications or repairs are attempted, non-original components are used, operating instructions or connection diagrams are not followed, the device is overloaded, third-party interventions occur, incorrect voltage/current is applied, or negligent handling causes damage. Defects caused by bridged or incorrect fuses also void the warranty.
At the end of its life, the product must not be disposed of with normal household waste but should be taken to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment, contributing to environmental protection.
