10.9 Why doesn't my phone play any tone for received
SMSs?
1. Check whether the ringtone volume is muted.
2. Go to Messaging > Menu > Settings > General > Tone. Check whether you have set a
tone for messages.

3. Check whether you have enabled the do-not-disturb function.
