Download the R215 v2.4 software package and prepare your Windows PC and USB line.
Ensure compatible OS (XP/Vista/Win7) and avoid shutting down the computer during the upgrade.
Power on the R215, connect via USB, and install the R215 software.
Check Device Manager for 'Vodafone Mobile Broadband Diagnostics Port' after driver installation.
Run the downloaded firmware executable and proceed through the updater wizard, clicking 'Start'.
Observe the 'Update in progress' status and confirm 'Update complete' message.
Login to WebUI, navigate to Help → Device Controls, and press 'Confirm' to restore.
Go to http://pocket.wifi, login, select Help → Diagnostics to view the device version.
