Display Mode Color Description
Yellow
l Steady on: The PoE function is
disabled on the port.
l Blinking: A PoE fault has occurred.
For example, an incompatible PD is
connected to the port.
Green and
yellow
Blinking green and yellow alternately:
The port cannot provide power to a PD.
The possible reasons include:
l The power of the PD exceeds the
maximum power or power threshold
of the port.
l The total power consumption of PDs
has reached the maximum power of
the switch.
l The manual power management mode
is used and the port is not enabled to
provide power to the PD.
Stack Green
l Off: Port indicators do not show the
stack ID of the switch.
l If the indicator is steady on, the
switch is not a master switch:
If the indicator of a port is steady
on, the number of this port is the
stack ID of the switch.
If the first nine port indicators are
steady on, the stack ID of the
switch is 0.
l If the indicator is blinking, the switch
is a master switch:
If the indicator of a port is
blinking, the number of this port is
the stack ID of the switch.
If the first nine port indicators are
blinking, the stack ID of the switch
is 0.
Power Supply Configuration
The S5700-28X-PWR-LI-AC has a built-in power module and does not support pluggable
power modules. It can provide PoE power supply and connect to an RPS1800 power supply
for power redundancy. Table 3-81 lists its power supply configurations.
