3.1 INTERFERENCE DETECTION
Collision Detection
All T7 powered carts are equipped with a Collision Detection feature, which can limit material damages to a hard object or
surface, should a collision occur.
Situations in which the anti-collision function does not work
There are situations in which the anti-collision function will not be activated.
These situations are:
• If the collision happens during the initialization phase
• If the collision happens within the first 1,000 msec or after the control button has been released
• If the collision happens between the floor and the table and the load on the desk plus the weight of the legs is lower
than 88.1 lbs (40 kg)
• If the collision happens over too long a time, e.g., if the collision is with a soft object.
