Moving Machine By Hand
WARNING!
No adjustments or maintenance
should be carried out unless:
• the engine stopped
• the ignition key removed
• the parking brake activated

Bypass Valves
Bypass valves are used to release the system so the
machine may be moved by hand when not running.
ZT-5400
Access to the bypass valves is from the lower rear
of the unit. The valves are located on the front, inner
sides of the transaxles.
Set the deck to the lowest position when accessing
the bypass valves.
To disengage each pump, turn the slot on the bypass
valve 45
O
clockwise from the DRIVE position to the
BYPASS position.
