Clean Glass Air Wash
Air is drawn into the frame of the door where it is heated in air channels before it then passes over the inner
surface of the glass, which minimises the formation of soot on the glass. The air wash control should not be
closed, as this will cause soot to form on the glass. Once the stove has reached its operating temperature the
control should be set in its mid position.
Riddling Rod
The rod is pulled out and pushed in to oscillate the grate, so shaking ashes into the ash pan below. The riddle rod
is situated on the front of the stove below the main firebox door and above the ash pan door.
