This document is the user manual for the Hygger HG-977 ARC-shaped Aquarium Kit, designed for both novice and experienced aquarists.

Function Description

The Hygger HG-977 is an ARC-shaped aquarium kit that provides a complete setup for starting an aquarium. It is suitable for housing plants, small fish, goldfish, or betta. The kit includes all the necessary equipment for easy setup and maintenance, making it a convenient choice for any home or office space. The ARC-shaped design offers a stylish complement to its surroundings.

Water Level Management: The manual provides guidance on maintaining the correct water level for optimal filtration and to prevent surface scum. The water should be filled to a higher filtering slot at the upper end hole (position E), which is about 5mm distance above position E. The lowest water level (position F) indicates when the aquarium will no longer filter surface scum.
Safety Features:
- Always use an outlet with appropriate voltage.
- The power cord cannot be replaced; stop using if it is damaged.
- Unplug the power cord before maintenance or if abnormal smell occurs.
- Ensure the tank is placed on a level surface.
- The LED light is powered by a DV terminal line; ensure it is properly connected.
- Do not connect the power plug before you connect the DV terminal line to avoid damaging the LEDs.
- WARNING: To guard against injury, basic safety precautions must be observed. This includes reading the user manual, avoiding possible electric shock, and ensuring the appliance is not used in water.
- If the appliance falls into water, DO NOT reach for it; unplug it immediately.
- Carefully examine the appliance after installation to ensure no parts are wet.

Maintenance Features

Filter Media Replacement: The filter media should be regularly cleaned or replaced. The manual provides a diagram (Figure 1) showing the order of the filter materials: biochemical cotton, active carbon, biochemical ball, and filter cotton.
Water Changes: To maintain a healthy aquarium, change 25% of the water once per week.
LED Light Maintenance: Keep the LED light on for a maximum of 8 hours per day.
Cleaning: Clean the water at the proper level. To maintain clean glass for viewing, use a piece of dry paper towel to wipe it clean from time to time. When you find the water cloudy, move the fish into clean water, then replace the water inside the fish tank and clean the filter media inside the filter housing, or replace with new filter media to ensure the fish have a clean and comfortable living environment.
