WARNING
Mast assem
blies are heavy and can cause an in-
jury when
moving. NEVER put any part of your
body betw
een the mast and a solid object when
the mast i
s being moved.
3. Using the
hoist, raise the mast to a height that
will allo
w the base of the mast to clear the base
of the fr
ame.
NOTE: Th
e alignment block mounted to the frame
keeps th
e mast from tipping during installation.
4. Align th
e mast directly over the open trunnions
and lowe
r the mast until it rests on the trunnion
blocks a
s shown in Figure 6. Make sure the align-
ment blo
ck is resting in the angled bracket shown
in Figure 7. Install the trunnion caps, bolts, and
washers and torque to 203 N•m (150 lbf ft).

5. After se
curing the mast in the trunnions, the
mast cab
le must be connected to the chassis wire
harness
. The mast cable will travel down and en-
ter the
grommet and opening in the chassis. Con-
nect th
e mast cable connector to the wire harness
connec
tor.
6. Attach
the hydraulic hose connecting the mani-
fold to
the chassis frame. See Figure 8.
