What to do if HYTROL Accessories conveyor will not start?
    • J
      Justin MorganAug 7, 2025
If the HYTROL Accessories conveyor won't start or the motor quits frequently, it could be due to a motor overload. Check for overloading of the conveyor. Alternatively, the motor might be drawing too much current. In this case, check the heater or circuit breaker and replace it if necessary.

Why is my HYTROL Accessories motor overheating?
    • D
      davidrodriguezAug 12, 2025
If the motor or reducer of your HYTROL Accessories is overheating, several factors could be responsible. First, the conveyor might be overloaded; in this case, check the conveyor's capacity and reduce the load to the recommended level. Insufficient voltage to the motor may also cause overheating, so have an electrician check and correct this. Also, check the lubricant level in the reducer and relubricate it according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Finally, if one or more V-belts are too tight, reposition the take-up sheaves further from the double groove sheave.

If the belt on your HYTROL Accessories is slipping or won’t move but the drive is running, it could be due to several reasons. The conveyor may be overloaded, so check its capability and reduce the load if necessary. The belt might also be too loose, so reposition the take-up sheaves closer to the double groove sheave. Lastly, there might be too much pressure against the belt; in this case, loosen the spring tension on the pressure rollers.

Why do HYTROL 190-LRC 90 drive chain and sprockets wear excessively?
    • B
      Beth WhiteAug 23, 2025
If the drive chain and sprockets on your HYTROL Accessories are wearing excessively, it could be due to a lack of lubrication on the chain, causing it to stretch and creating improper chain-to-sprocket mesh. Replace the chain and sprockets and provide adequate lubrication. Note that if the problem reoccurs, a chain take-up may be required. Another reason could be that the sprockets are out of alignment, so align them. A loose chain may also be the reason, so tighten the chain.

How to fix loud popping noise in HYTROL 190-LRC 90 Accessories?
    • B
      Barry PriceAug 28, 2025
If you're hearing a loud popping or grinding noise from your HYTROL Accessories, it could be due to a defective bearing, in which case you should replace the bearing. Another potential cause is loose set screws in the bearing, so tighten the set screws. Finally, a loose drive chain could also be the source of the noise, so tighten the chain.

What to do if HYTROL 190-LRC 90 Accessories tread rollers not turning?
    • M
      Mrs. Laura GordonSep 1, 2025
If the belt is moving but the tread rollers are not turning on your HYTROL Accessories, it could be because there is not enough pressure against the belt from the pressure rollers. Tighten the spring tension on the pressure rollers in the area of stalled rollers. Another reason could be a bolt in the suspension angle binding, not allowing adjustment of the pressure rollers. Loosen the bolt and adjust the spring tension as required, and check for burrs or foreign material behind the angles. Finally, missing or broken springs or adjustment nuts could be the cause, so replace and re-adjust them.
