About This Book
This book will be your guide to using the 3270
Personal Computer. It is for you to use after
your 3270 PC has been set up and you have the
version of the control program that you will be
using. We hope that you are sitting at your
work station as you read. We wrote this book to
encourage you to start using the system. As with
any new tool, you are probably anxious to try
out your 3270 PC, but you are not sure how to
begin. We will try to help.
This is Book 3. We designed it for you to keep as
a handy reference along side your work station.
It will help you in your day-to-day use of the 3270
PC and its Control Program.
Using the Online Tutorial
We began this book where the Online Tutorial in
Book 2 ends. If you have not used the Tutorial
yet, we recommend that you take some time and
try it now. It will show you how your system
works and how you can control it. It will also
let you use parts of the system as you learn
about them. The Online Tutorial diskette came
packaged with this book. The instructions for it
begin in Chapter 2 in Book 2.
