What 'Some Printers Can and Can't Do
Here are some examples:
• IBM 5201 Quietwriter Printer
It cannot print in color and cannot print any
symbols or characters that are not in its
character sets.
• IBM 5216 Wheelprinter and IBM 5218 Printer
They cannot print in color and cannot print
any symbols or characters that are not on
their print wheels.
• IBM 5152 Personal Computer Graphics
Printer
It cannot print in color. It can print personal
computer graphics, underscored text, and
some highlighted text.
• IBM 5182 Personal Computer Color Printer
It cannot print the background colors of your
windows. It may print text in different colors
than it appears on your screen, and the
shades of the colors may vary slightly. It
prints white text on your screen in black.
This printer cannot print programmed
symbols, underscored text, and highlighting.
