The system can be implemented within a cluster of application servers, and
integration services can run across the cluster. You can implement a cluster of
application servers based on the size of your system implementation.
First, determine whether a single server implementation of the continuous queue
can handle your message volume. If a single server does not meet your needs, add
central processing units, hardware, and a cluster configuration to improve
message processing performance.
When you implement a cluster, you can use multiple servers simultaneously to
process inbound messages. These messages are processed in the continuous
queues by using message-driven beans (MDBs). Cluster configurations facilitate
the processing of messages in large volumes.
