Your system database can contain some elements, such as descriptions and long
descriptions, in multiple languages. Publish channels and enterprise services can
include these translated columns.
A single system database can contain data in multiple languages. You specify the
base language when you install the application. If your system uses a language
that differs from the base language, you can enable the integration framework to
send and receive non-base language data to and from external systems.
