D Turning the VOX function ON or OFF
The VOX function can be turned ON or OFF when turning the trans-
ceiver power ON.
q Rotate [VOL] to turn the trans-
ceiver power OFF.
w Set [ROTARY SELECTOR] to
any channel other than Chan-
nel 16.
e While holding down [PTT] and
[Upper], rotate [VOL] to turn ON
the power to switch the VOX
function ON or OFF.
• One beep sounds when the VOX
function is turned OFF.
• Two beeps sound when the VOX
function is turned ON.
NOTE: This operation may not be available, depending on the
presetting. Ask your dealer for details.
