M ENTERING ADJUSTMENT MODE
1) Turn OFF the transceiver power, if the transceiver is powered ON.
2) While holding down [#], [
], [ ] and [ ], hold down [ ] to turn ON the transceiver power.
• The login screen appears as below.
3) Enter the password “SX-3500,” and then push [
].
Select a Menu.
Main Menu
Return to the Main Menu.
Enter the selected Menu.
Enter the Factory Menu.
Enter the selected adjustment group.
Enter “SX-3500” as below.
Deletes the selected character.
1) Push [7 PRS](CLAR) 3 times to enter “S.”
2) Push [9 WXY] 2 times to enter “X.”
3) Push [* @?](MUTE) 21 times to enter “–.”
4) Push [3 DEF](MODE)4 times to enter “3.”
5) Push [5 JKL] 4 times to enter “5.”
6) Push [0](DISP) 4 times to enter
“0,” and then push [].
7) Push [0](DISP) 4 times to enter “0.”
Selects the next digit.
Selects the previous digit.
4) Hold down [ ] for 1 second to enter the Main Menu.
5) Select “Setmode.”
6) Select “Factory.”
7) Select either “Simple,” “Detail,” or “Design” to adjust an item, as described below.
• Select “User Menu” to see the transceiver’s settings.
Simple:
RX ADJUSTMENT, RX 1ST MIXER, RX IF, RF GAIN, S-METER, REFERENCE FREQUENCY, IDLING, CM COUPLER,
TX IF, ALC CURRENT, TX POWER (CW mode)
Detail: TX POWER (AM mode), (DATA)
Design: PO METER, TX SENSITIVITY, LOW VOLTAGE APC, POWER OFF V
