Parking brake (hand brake)
Pull the control lever backwards to
enable the parking brake.
To release the parking brake, slightly
pull the control lever upwards and press
down the locking button at the end at rst,
and then release the lever forwards to the
limit.
Warning
• Do not drive the vehicle when
the parking brake is applied, or
else, the brake will fail to work
due to overheating, thus causing
accidents.
• Do not use the transmission
instead of the parking brake. For
parking of vehicle equipped with
automatic & manual transmission,
push the shift lever to P gear and
apply the parking brake at the
same time.
• Do not leave the child or to
beattended adults in the vehicle
alone, to avoid accident due to
accidental release of parking
brake by them.
BRAKE
If the ignition switch is connected but the
parking brake lever is not released or not
released completely, the parking brake
warning lamp will be lighted.
Note:
Release the parking brake lever
when starting the vehicle for
traveling.
