Door rubbing strip protectors
To remove
1 To remove protective strips from fender or front
and rear doors, heat with heat gun and lever off.
To avoid damage to paintwork, apply tape to body
and up to the edge of protective strip.
To refit
The fitting area must be clean and free of all traces of
old adhesive clean the areas with acetate or spirit.
Heat the body areas to 35º 45º.
The temperature when fitting must be greater or equal
to 24º.
Preheat the protection strips to 40º. 50º.
Position on vehicle and apply a regular pressure of
around 2-2.5 Kg per sq. cm.
