What to do if my Imetec ZEROCALC PRO 2300 Iron leaks water from the plate?
If water leaks from the plate of your Imetec Iron, it could be because the plate temperature is too low from pressing the super-steam button (4) too often. Try allowing slightly longer intervals between steam jets. Alternatively, the temperature adjustment knob (2) might be set too low. Turn the temperature adjustment knob (2) to the Max level (Fig. D).
Why is my Imetec ZEROCALC PRO 2300 plate not heating up?
If the plate (10) of your Imetec Iron remains cold or does not heat up, there could be a few reasons. First, check whether the plug (13) is correctly inserted into the power socket, or try another socket. Also, ensure that the temperature adjustment knob (2) is not set to the minimum temperature (Fig. D).
What to do if my Imetec Iron is dispensing only a little steam?
If your Imetec Iron is dispensing only a little steam or none at all, the steam selector (5) might be set to 0. Adjust the steam selector (5) to the desired setting (Fig. B). Another possibility is that there is not enough water in the reservoir (11). If so, fill the reservoir (11).
Why do impurities come out of my Imetec Iron steam holes and stain garments?
If impurities coming out from the steam holes of your Imetec Iron are staining your garments, it could be due to a few reasons. There might be residue in the steam chamber or plate, in which case you should carry out the Self Clean procedure (see paragraph Seal Clean/Calc- Clean System). It could also be that chemical additives, scented liquids, or descaling agents are being used, which can damage the product, so avoid adding additives to the water in the reservoir. Finally, if you are using starch, make sure to always spray it on the reverse side of the fabric.
How to understand Imetec ZEROCALC PRO 2300 Iron plate temperature LED?
The plate temperature LED (1) on your Imetec Iron going on and off is normal. The switching ON and OFF of the LED indicates the heating phase of the iron. The LED goes off once the set temperature is reached.
