8. FM RADIO RECEPTION
8.1 Automatic FM station scan
If you are not already in FM mode, press the Mode button (1) until FM appears in the display.
1. Press the Scan (2) button. The radio will search all available stations. When it finds the next station,
the search will stop and the frequency and RDS information, if available, will appear.
2. The stations found will be automatically saved and can be played by pressing the Preset (3) button.
When listening to FM radio, you may need to use the Tune (9) button to fine-tune the frequency. If
reception is still poor, change the direction of the antenna or move the radio to a different location.
8.2 Manual FM station search
A manual station search lets you save certain analogue radio stations, then change the location of the radio
or antenna to receive the strongest possible signal for this station.
1. Turn the ‘Tune’ knob to work through analogue radio frequencies. Once you reach the frequency of
your desired station, stop turning the knob. The radio will then try to save this frequency.
PLEASE NOTE!
You may have to adjust the antenna or move the radio to another location to achieve the best possible signal.
8.3 Saving FM stations
Your radio can store up to 30 FM stations, so you have easy access to your favourite stations.
1. Tune your radio to the FM station you want to save.
2. Press and hold the ‘Preset’ (3) button. Memory slot 1 will be displayed.
3. Turn the Tune knob (9) to the memory slot you want to save this station to.
4. Press the Select button (7) to save the station to your desired memory slot.
Any DAB stations that you have saved will not be overwritten when you save FM
radio stations.
PLEASE NOTE!
If an FM station was already saved to this memory slot, however,
this will be overwritten.
