  If your Indesit dishwasher won't start or respond, ensure it's properly plugged into the socket. If there was a power outage, open the dishwasher door, press the START/Pause button, and close the door within 4 seconds. Also, make sure the dishwasher door is firmly closed until you hear a click. If the door was opened for more than 4 seconds during a cycle, press START/Pause and close the door within 4 seconds. If it still doesn't respond, try switching the appliance off and on again after a minute, or unplug it for a minute and then plug it back in.

Why are the dishes not clean in my Indesit Dishwasher?

  If your Indesit dishwasher isn't cleaning dishes properly, make sure the crockery is arranged correctly so the spray arms can rotate freely. Select a suitable wash cycle. Ensure you're using the correct amount of detergent and that it's designed for dishwashers. Check that the rinse aid compartment cap is properly closed. Also, clean the filter assembly if it's soiled or clogged, and refill the salt reservoir if it's empty.

  If your Indesit dishwasher won’t drain, first wait until the wash cycle finishes. Check that the drain hose isn't bent. Clean the sink drain pipe if it's blocked, and clean the filter if it's clogged with food residues.

  If your Indesit dishwasher does not fill the water and all LEDs are blinking rapidly, ensure that the tap is on and there is water in the water supply. Also, check that the inlet hose is not bent. If the sieve in the water inlet hose is clogged, clean it. After completing these checks and cleaning, turn the dishwasher off and then on, and restart a new program.
