Why Infinity Subwoofer BassLink II’s POWER LED remains on after head unit is turned off?
    • M
      Mark HartmanAug 7, 2025
For speaker-level connections, it is normal operation when AUTO TURN ON is set to ON that Infinity Subwoofer BassLink II’s POWER LED remains on after head unit is turned off. BassLink II will remain on another 5 to 10 minutes after sensing that audio signals are not present before shutting down.

What to do if Infinity Subwoofer BassLink II produces a loud humming noise with the system OFF?
    • A
      aarondunnAug 16, 2025
If your Infinity Subwoofer BassLink II is emitting a loud humming noise when the system is off while using speaker-level inputs, it might be due to a feedback loop between your speakers and the high-level inputs of the BassLink II. To resolve this, connect a wire from the REMOTE terminal on the BassLink II to the remote turn-on of your head unit or to the vehicle’s accessory circuit. Then, on the control panel, slide the AUTO TURN ON switch to the OFF position. Alternatively, connect the supplied capacitors between each of the speaker outputs of the head unit and the speaker’s positive lead. Connect each positive lead of BassLink II’s high-level inputs to the head-unit side of the capacitors. Use one capacitor per speaker input channel.

Why is there no bass from my Infinity Subwoofer BassLink II even though the POWER LED is lit?

      Heather ChangAug 21, 2025
If the POWER LED on your Infinity Subwoofer BassLink II is lit but you're not getting any bass, the issue might be with the input connections. Double-check all connections to ensure they are properly connected. Another potential cause is that the head-unit fader control is not set properly. Adjust the head-unit fader control to ensure it's sending audio signals to the BassLink II.

What to do if my Infinity Subwoofer BassLink II sounds muddy or distorted?
    • L
      lewistheresaAug 26, 2025
If your Infinity Subwoofer BassLink II sounds muddy or distorted, it could be due to several reasons. The gain might be set too high, and the SERVO LED is constantly lit. Try readjusting the GAIN control. Alternatively, the bass might be set too high; in this case, readjust the BASS BOOST control. If the head-unit output is distorted or blown, it is suggested to consult your authorized Infinity car audio dealer.
